Arriving at Burgas Airport marks the beginning of your Bulgarian getaway, and understanding how to navigate the terminal and arrange your onward travel is key to a smooth holiday. By booking a private transfer in advance, you can bypass the stress of local transport logistics and head directly to your accommodation in comfort.
Burgas Airport serves as the primary gateway for travelers visiting the southern Bulgarian Black Sea coast. The facility is well-equipped to handle international arrivals, featuring essential amenities such as duty-free shopping, comfortable airport lounges, and a viewing terrace where you can watch aircraft movements. For those needing to settle into the local environment, the terminal offers currency exchange services and various restaurants serving local cuisine, making it easy to grab a meal or refresh yourself after your flight.
The city of Burgas is a vibrant coastal hub that offers much more than just a transit point for your holiday. Once you complete your arrival formalities, the transfer from Burgas Airport to Burgas takes 20–25 min, bringing you directly to a city defined by its rich culture and scenic beauty.
Visitors often spend time exploring the expansive Sea Garden, which stretches along the coastline, or visiting the unique Burgas Lakes, a paradise for bird watching enthusiasts. If your timing aligns with the warmer months, the annual Sand Festival is a highlight that draws visitors from all over Europe. For those seeking cultural depth, the local Opera House hosts regular performances, while the surrounding area offers ample opportunities for shopping and enjoying the local beach atmosphere.
Once you land, the entire Bulgarian coast is accessible via a direct door-to-door transfer along the coast road. Depending on your choice of resort, you might head north toward the lively Sunny Beach, the historic charms of Nessebar, or the quieter, family-friendly atmosphere of Ravda.
If you prefer the upscale, yacht-filled environment of St. Vlas or the romantic, ancient streets of Sozopol, our chauffeur service ensures your luggage is handled with care while you enjoy the scenery. Many families also enjoy planning their itinerary around attractions like Aqua Paradise Nessebar, which serves as a popular destination for day trips from across the region.
